First time in over ten years I have returned to the old haunt of mine since moving to Dubai. It did not fail to impress. Food still as good as ever. Others have come and gone, for more than 20 years this place has held legend status.

I was disappointed and was not happy. The food tasted like Chinese food, so I can only give one star. The rice was not sushi rice as well. I came here to have Japanese food but not Chinese food. Why not I go to Chinese restaurant? I don't think it's difficult to make the food taste more like Japanese. Please learn from Japanese tube videos and travel to Japan and try their food. The food was okay actually, but the rice I had and the curry pork noodle my partner had just didn’t taste like traditional Japanese food. Also, the staff was friendly but not attentive. The staff gave me a pair of chopsticks for eating rice. It's better to give a spoon to customer as well.

Very good and nice pricing. Make sure that you have a reservation if you're planning to sit in during peak times as it's very very busy even on a Tuesday 😹

This is by far one of my top favorite restaurants in Glasgow. Amazing food and service. Tried it two days in a row and honestly.. it would be one of the reasons why I’ll visit Glasgow again. That’s how amazing it is.
