We had a great time with the family. Our chef was entertaining, funny, and oh yes…also a great cook. The food was amazing and very filling. You do not leave hungry!

Had an amazing experience at Ichiban Steak House! The fresh-cooked seafood was absolutely delicious and prepared right in front of us with a fun and entertaining chef show — it really added to the whole atmosphere. ...They even serve signature cocktails in elegant ceramic mugs shaped like a geisha, which you can take home as a souvenir — such a fun and memorable detail! They seated us at a shared table, which turned out to be a great idea. We ended up with wonderful company and such a good vibe — it made my birthday dinner feel truly special and unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food, fun energy, and a memorable evening!

This was one of those historic places in Winnipeg thats been operating for over 51 years, that was always known for its food and show. Sadly, this time, the food was bland. (And I'm not a overly picky eater) The Filet Mignon wasn't seasoned, fried rice was boring and scallops were small and rubbery. (Chicken liver and onions were good). The two dipping sauces were also very bland. The chef, manager, bus boy and server along with the atmosphere were fantastic, but for a $100.00 CAD for a single person (1 beer and food), may be a tad expensive for the "current" quality..

This has been a go too place for years and years. Such a fun place to eat at. I hadnt been since 2018, I went for my birthday with a bunch of friends and family, really just a fun time, we had a chef who has been there for 40 yrs, I remember him serving us before, he's a very funny guy. Good time had all around and the food was delicious as I remembered.
