This place is hands down my family’s go-to spot for takeout sushi! 10/10 🍣 Our usual order never misses: salmon sashimi, sexy salmon, spicy sake, mars, alaska, bakudan, and the classic philadelphia rolls. I guarantee you, everything always tastes fresh. Their takoyaki is pretty good too! I also love that they label every sushi roll on the packaging so you always know exactly what you’re eating. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference & I haven't seen any other place do this. Presentation-wise, everything looks visually appealing, which honestly makes everything taste better for me LOL. If you’re looking for great takeout sushi, don't miss out because this place the one!

We were just in Winnipeg for the night and needed a quick bit. This is a takeout or delivery only spot. We got spicy salmon avocado roll, tuna roll, snow roll and an order of spring rolls. Everything was very fresh and delicious, order was ready 40 minutes after we ordered which was when they said it would be ready. Interior of restaurant is cute and comfy to wait for your order. Also lots of cool shops and spots in the area to check out while you’re waiting. We recommend!

For a budget friendly sushi spot, can't complain. It's no Yujiro but for the price it's really good. Very fresh ingredients and great sushi rice. It's take out only. Labelling of rolls is a nice touch and they don't skimp on the ginger/wasabi. Pick up was on time and accurate estimate. Definitely will add this place in our rotation.

My family & I always love to order sushi for special occasions. We ordered a feast via DoorDash delivery for Diwali last night (5 people) and everything was so delicious! The sashimi was generously sized, there were plenty of options for rolls to cater to everyone’s preferences, and everything was so so fresh! We are quite picky with sushi because we order it so often. Personally, I’ve tried so many different places in the city. Kuma stood out to me for the quality, the generosity of sauces, wasabi & ginger given, and especially for the freshness! Even the rice & avocado were fresh! Finally, we were pleased to see everything was carefully labelled for us in our trays - this was super helpful and considerate. I didn’t care for the Wakame Salad as much because I found it too sweet, but everything else definitely made up for that. Kuma is my new favourite! Thank you to anyone that put in the effort to cook, pack, and handle our order. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this restaurant a try.

Terrible quality. The rolls fall apart, tear, and are impossible to eat with chopsticks — only with your hands like you’re homeless. 🤬 Thanks for ruining our family Friday dinner and wasting our money, time, and the long wait — not to mention the disappointment of our kids. This was my second and definitely last order. I’ll be sure to tell all my friends the same. Absolute garbage. Customers — there are way better places just around the corner!
