Food was really good, bread was really nice. They almost gave us too much! We couldn’t stop asking for more. Pasta was very very tasty. Worth the money for sure. I would come again. Vibes were really nice. I wore my work clothes here which felt kinda weird but I didn’t want to change.

Overall 4.7/5 is way overrated. Saw a few dishes in others’ review and decided to try at this restaurant (Octopus and Spaghetti Nero). Reserved our table online a week earlier and was looking forward to it. It’s really hard to find parking. Had to park a few blocks away. Restaurant was super busy and full on a Sunday night. Unfortunately 2/3 of the dishes we wanted to order were taken out of the current menu - huge disappointment… Instead we ordered Mussels, Salmon Tartare for starters and each ordered a pasta, Spaghetti and Bucatini. The complimentary bread was amazing, wish I could buy some to take home. The sauce in Mussels was also amazing, but mussels themselves were not fresh, or not even in quality, it had a few bad ones (which caused my partner diarrhea unfortunately..). Both pastas were good, but meatball was not worth $6. Our server Lauren did an amazing job fixing things for us and making our experience great.

We decided to stop by IE on a busy Saturday night without a reservation to celebrate my birthday. As a huge fan of authentic Italian cuisine, this place quickly became one of my favorites in the metro! From the kind hospitality, quick service, perfectly sized dishes, to unique choices across the entire menu from start to finish - it was all exceptional. A place to go that feels like family. Thank you for making our spontaneous, last minute dinner a celebration to remember. Ps. Get the Chocolate Torte 🤌

The food was absolutely delicious! The sweet corn agnolotti was amazing and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. Our server Mickey went above and beyond. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Minneapolis.

IE is incredible, with stunning dishes at every course, a wonderful and accommodating staff, in a casual yet elegant setting. Visiting the area from NY our friend got us a reservation (which you will definitely need) and hyped up IE and it's delectable dishes. We were truly wowed by every item we ate, with 2 appetizers, the arancini and meatballs and 4 pasta dishes to share. Which we did family style and they don't technically do it that way but made it possible for us. I won't tell you what to get because taste buds will vary but every dish was cooked to perfection, with vibrant looks and flavors. All I can tell you is to make your reservation now, and I hope you are swept away as much as we were. Enjoy!!
