IKEA is the best place to buy furniture. My wife loves this place a lot. She always compares prices here with other stores such as Walmart, Ashley, and other furniture stores and no one ever beats IKEA’s prices.
I've always Loved IKEA wherever I go to them around the country. The Charlotte location is very nice and well run and there's always so much to look at whether you're buying that day or just trying to figure out what you want your home to look like. The food is good and works well for a family or an individual to grab a bite to eat before shopping or in the middle of shopping for a break.
Very subtly festive, neat, clean and sterile. Lots of eye candy and edible treats as well. Scandinavian Grandma needed some lingonberries so we made the trek to the homeland! She’s 88 and did very well with her shopping cart walker. We knew this store to be a labyrinth, so planned accordingly. Unfortunately after shopping then taking the lift to lunch then back down to leave, we found the door we came in to be locked. We asked two different attendants to please let us out, that grandma was tired and weary, only to be told by both that she had to go all the way around (but she could use the “shortcuts”). It took us nearly 20 minutes to navigate the mazed exit, which was both unnecessary and a sad ending, to what was otherwise a fun and enjoyable trip down Swedish memory lane. A little empathy & compassion would have gone a long way to making this an easy 5-star visit!
Today I visited IKEA Charlotte and had a wonderful experience. The store is huge, clean, and very well organized, making it easy to explore different sections and get home décor ideas. I loved walking through the model rooms — they’re so creative and show how to make the most of small spaces. The staff were friendly, polite, and ready to help whenever needed. The restaurant was another highlight. Checkout was smooth, and the pickup process was quick and convenient. Overall, IKEA Charlotte is a great place to shop for stylish, affordable furniture and home essentials, and it’s definitely worth a visit.
This Ikea store is HUGE and the displays are absolutely beautiful. If you don't know where you're going though it can feel like a maze. The grandeur of it is a little overwhelming but also fun. If you're just perusing, it feels like a museum visit. All items have a tag that describes what the item is called and where to locate it towards the end of the store. There is a tiny daycare location at the front so adults can walk by themselves. It also has two restaurant locations for those wanting food.
