My experience at In-Shape has been nothing short of amazing, and one of the biggest reasons for that is Jay at the front desk in the mornings. Every time I walk in, he greets me with genuine warmth and positivity, which always sets the tone for the rest of my workout. Jay is incredibly respectful, professional, and approachable — he makes everyone feel welcome the moment they step through the door. Whether it’s remembering members by name, offering a friendly smile, or helping answer any questions, he goes above and beyond to create a comfortable and uplifting atmosphere. It’s rare to find someone who consistently treats everyone with kindness and respect, and Jay does it effortlessly. Starting the day with such a positive interaction really motivates me to keep coming back and makes the entire In-Shape experience even better. His attitude truly reflects the values of the gym and plays a huge role in why I enjoy being a member there so much.

I really enjoy the positive energy at the gym and the warm, welcoming feeling I get every time I walk in. The staff is always friendly and smiling, which makes the experience even better. They have some of the best personal trainers who are always ready to help and answer a variety of questions. Overall, The Pocket Gym is one of the best places to get in shape!

I have worked out at five of the other In-Shape clubs since the merger and the Pocket In-Shape club this is one of the better ones. The management is very responsive and the associates are very friendly and welcoming. The facility and equipment are well maintained. I often see the manager(s) and associates walking through the workout area to dust, clean, or pickup any debris. This is very encouraging to see since it shows they take pride in their facility. The parking is plentiful and convenient compared to some of the other sites and easy to access. The classes offered here are very good, although packed, with the studio well cleaned and neat. The members maintain a friendly but serious workout atmosphere and keep the equipment fairly well wiped down after they are done.

BEST GYM AND STAFF EVER!! Very clean and organized! The number one thing I like about this gym OVER ALL others is the customer service they provide and the STAFF members are just the absolute BEST! Specifically (Michelle, Jenifer, Sebastian and Micky in the kids club). These specific individuals create such a fun and welcoming environment for my family. They always go above and beyond for us. They always greet us with a warm welcome. They are always very nice to my son River. They make us want to be here. I’ve been to other In-Shape fitnesses across Sacramento and the customer service given at this specific location is just next to none. The way that this locations staff members treat their guests makes the worlds difference. They are the best and really create a fun and positive atmosphere to be in.
