This venue is not actually accessible to wheelchairs. There is a ramp on the outside, but you can't open both doors as one side has rusted bolts. The main venue space is up a flight of stairs with no lift or stair lift. There should be no wheelchair icon on the site information.

I really enjoyed this venue. My son Pip Razkid Erasmus was performing there. It's a fab church being put to good use for the community. Lovely bar for drinks attached to a quiet seating area. Fab security. Shame the smoking area was in the street whereas the chip shop was opposite. Very busy safe area with like-minded people

So far the best arts and crafts speciality store I've been to in Cardiff! Only a 15min walk from the Capitol in the city centre; located inside an old church building. Walking down Newport road away from town it will be the THIRD church spire you will see in the distance. I was only in there for a short time - I called in advance to check they had the gold fabric paint I wanted - but I was able to browse their wide selection of knitting and sewing paraphernalia. In the back room they have all sorts of paper and card supplies, unfortunately I didn't have time to fully explore on this occasion. The entrance confused me at first! Once you enter through the main entrance, take the door to your left to find the arts and crafts (on the day I went, the door on the right was locked, but I believe it leads to the Framing service.) They offer a 10% student discount, making my purchase (Pebeo fabric paint in shimmer gold - £3.92) cheaper than anywhere I could find online. The young lady who spoke on the phone to me and served me in store was friendly and helpful - in fact it was she who asked if I had a student card, if not I wouldn't have known about the discount! Overall great experience, I will definitely be back. This is my go-to place for arts and crafts from now on!
