As a serial salvage shopper and general rooter I can honestly say In Situ is a shop worth a visit. You know you are on to a winner when there is a bowl full of tape measures to use and it hits the spot with amazing proper salvage at prices for everyone. We bought a load of stuff today and will be back for more. Helen was an absolute delight and couldn’t do enough for us…. Give that girl a pay rise ! .

It's such a pleasure to visit. A treasure trove of nostalgia and inspiration. I've just bought the most wonderful lights for a kitchen refurb and will be back for more.

We always enjoy a poke around this perfectly cluttered shop, as we never know what we are going to find that will be just what we didn't know we needed for our renovation. Whether you are looking for antique lighting, fireplaces, doors (or door hardware), or just fancy seeing what bits and bobs are in stock, I can highly recommend a visit.

If you like a place of curiosity and possibility, then this is a place for you! Filled with unwanted architectural features, fixtures and other associated bits and pieces, this shop will totally inspire you. On the day we wandered through, we found a chandelier dangled next to a catering-sized wine rack, adjacent to the biggest set of ornately decorated wooden doors we have ever seen, set behind some beautiful old road signs. Well lit and thoughtfully furnished with upcycled materials itself, this store is a wonderful place to wander through, especially if you are one of those people who love to reuse, recycle and reimagine older objects. So much love for this place.
