Holly has been out go-to for taxes at Jackson Hewitt. We have used her for years. Jackson Hewitt will look for other ways to see if they can save you on your taxes thank you Holly and thank you Jackson Hewitt

I always use JH. Even though I may have to pay the government back it's always with a smile and a thorough explanation ad to why. Besides I dearly respect Holly , my tax preparer she is so professional and knows her business. Ty JH for providing fantastic service.

I am a mailman and have picked mail up from this place before and I was always greeted by Holly Valentine with a smile and a friendly greeting. I recently have gone there to get my taxes filed and I cannot even begin to describe the amazing and helpful Holly Valentine. Last year Holly held this Jackson Hewitt down single-handedly. It seems she is doing it this year too! Holly is helpful, friendly, and most of all knowledgeable. Give her a raise, a promotion, or something! Every 5 Star review is built on her back.

I hate to post such a low review, especially since Holly is indeed very nice. We went to our scheduled appointment 2/10/23. We have a complicated tax profile (work income, business, solar panels, respite care 1099, etc). I listed all of these things when I made the appointment and we uploaded all but two docs to the Jackson Hewitt website before. We spent 90 minutes at the appointment. Holly was there alone. 20 minutes (not consecutive) were spent by her answering the phone while we sat and waited. 40 minutes (not exaggerated) were spent by Holly telling us about something she didn't understand from our 2021 tax return. She did this over and over and over again, without any new information added. *Holly has a heart of gold. She really did want to help us,* but this was an incredibly inefficient meeting. This left 30 minutes in which she actually asked us questions and went over our taxes. She (and no one at Jackson Hewitt, apparently) knew what was going on with our solar credit and so she scheduled a follow up appointment for us to come in and look at possibly amending our taxes and filing for 2022. My husband went to the appointment 10 minutes early, taking time out of his work day. He waited for 75 minutes while Holly (alone again) helped another customer. She apologized and explained that a co worker was out sick, so she was doing "double duty". Unfortunately, "double duty" actually translates to making customers wait for extended periods of time, as she can only help one person at a time. When my husband finally was invited to the desk (75 minutes late) he was briefly informed that Holly's boss had instructed her the night before to not prepare our taxes. She apologized profusely, but should have called at open to cancel the appointment. Failing to call before my husband's arrival was on its own completely unacceptable. Making him wait for over an hour just to say "I can't help you" is wildly inexcusable. Unfortunately, this experience with Jackson Hewitt revealed that the tax professionals at J.H. are no more qualified than turbo tax, maybe less so, but with a much heftier price tag.
