Came in today to add a charm to my bracelet the lady named Helen was not friendly and her energy throughout the whole interaction was not welcoming or inviting, usually when I go I'm always met with smiling faces and helped out about placement and suggestions on where the charm would fit best instead I was rudely told to put the charm on the bracelet.This was not the friendly service I'm used to when I come but unfortunately it will be the last time I go to this location.
This is an edit: after I had posted the review James Avery contacted me & so did the store manager. I can that every trip back has been pleasant and wonderful. They took my concerns to heart and heard me. I REALLY recommend this store. Thank you for all the help & support. This is the store I regularly go to; usually it has excellent customer service. Today though I was helped by Lana whose customer service is really poor quality. I went in to pickup the chain I had repaired & the charm bracelet with a new charm put on it. I was having trouble putting on the cross on the repaired chain. She asked if I needed help, I said yes and then asked her to switch the cross around (so it faced the other way) she didn’t respond or do as I requested. I had to do it myself and then went and gossiped to a co-worker about me. This is extremely poor customer service and she needs to be retrained. She gives James Avery a very bad look.
Terrible experience. I placed my order online and went for pick up the next day. I told the lady when I walked in I was there for online order pick up she still proceeded to put me into the line with everyone else. After about 5 min in the line a gentleman asked if there was anyone picking up an order, the lady who put me in the line said, “NO”. I raised my hand and said, “yes, I am”. He pulled me from the line and proceeded to check my confirmation and ID. Handed me the bag trying to rush me out (never let me confirm indeed it was what I ordered). I told him I wanted the charm placed on the bracelet and he told me no I wld need to make another appointment to go back and it would NOT be in time for Christmas! I told him it made no sense I was at another James Avery the day before and they offered to place the charms on everyone’s order and they were slammed. He told me sorry we can’t help you. Mind you I only went to this store because the bracelet I wanted was not at the store I was at prior. You and your staff could learn a few things about customer service from the Lake Worth location.
I was greeted at the door promptly. Then the gentleman helped me find what I was looking for and he took me to a lady at the checkout. I was probably there for only about 5 minutes. The lady at the checkout was nice and packaged my purchase nicely for Christmas.
Greeted me soon as I walked in, wasn’t too busy so I was helped right away. Was able to purchase two charms and received my free charm bracelet. I love it!
