While we weren't able to work with Jay given a relationship the seller had with another banker, Jay was an incredible advocate for us in the process helping us understand the norms in industry around things like impound accounts, lender credits, and buying down points. I cannot recommend Jay Sondhi highly enough! As a first-time homebuyer, we had a lot of questions and concerns about the mortgage process, but Jay and his team made things much simpler. From the very beginning, Jay took the time to explain different loan options, walked me through interest rates scenarios, and broke down the calculations in a way that made sense. Jay was always patient and incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring we felt confident in my decisions.
