This mom and pop restaurant has been a part of Richardson Chinatown for decades. Apparently they've renovated so it's spacious and has a bar and visible kitchen as well as the bakery. The food has always been authentic, fresh and delicious. We ordered dumplings, soup dumplings, fried rice, hot and sour soup, mapo tofu, and vegetarian noodles. The pork and leek dumplings were addictive so we ordered another round. Everything we got was hot and satisfying. Their new bar elevates the dining experience with special fusion drinks. It's rare to find an Asian restaurant with a good drink menu, nonetheless an extensive one. Friendly bartender Anna recommended the sparkling lemon drop, orange kombucha and Fu Dog cocktails - all were refreshing, tasty and unique. The Sparkling Lemon Drop was so amazing, I can't wait to come back again. Service was prompt, polite and professional. Highly recommend Jeng Chi for best Chinese food in DFW!
