I was recommended Jenny by my wedding planner and had a wonderful experience working with her and her sister Trudy! Jenny is professional, patient, punctual, reliable, kind, and SO easy to get along with. She took the time to understand my vision for how I wanted to look and is very open to feedback. You can tell Jenny is very passionate in her craft and knows the ins & outs of wedding makeup. She also gave recommendations and suggestions based off her beauty expertise, which I found helpful. I had so much fun at my trial and I knew I could trust her for my big day. Jenny was so kind to me the day of my wedding too – I was EXTREMELY nervous and she kept me calm while she fixed my makeup through all my many tears. I wouldn’t have lasted the day without her support. My makeup lasted ALL day and night and I never felt more beautiful & confident. Jenny and Trudy also did hair and makeup for my mom and sister. They can work with all types of skin types and hair lengths, which is very impressive. They did an amazing job and my family couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful they looked and felt! I cannot recommend Jenny and her sister Trudie enough! I first met Jenny at my hair and makeup trial at which we got to know each other, and she worked with my ideas to nail down my look for the wedding day. Jenny took the time to also pick the right products to prep my skin and the makeup that would complement my skin type. She truly listened to what I wanted and made me feel like the best version of myself on my wedding day. My makeup looked flawless, natural, and elegant—and it lasted beautifully all day through the Houston summer heat and happy tears. When we met up for touchups at the reception venue there really wasn’t much to fix but Jenny went above and beyond ensuring my evening look would go with the rest of my outfits, and she helped me feel refreshed for the rest of the night. Trudie did the hair for me and three others in my wedding party and did a phenomenal job. She worked quickly, efficiently, and my hairpins all stayed in throughout the night of dancing. Jenny and Trudie were professional, calm, and such a joy to be around, which made the morning of my wedding less stressful and fun. I received so many compliments! They also did hair and makeup for my maid of honor and mothers of the bride and groom, who looked amazing as well. Wow! Jenny did my hair and makeup on my wedding day and I have never felt so beautiful! In addition to being incredibly talented, she is so sweet and insightful; I really enjoyed chatting with her while she worked. I’m going back to her for hair and makeup for a gala I am attending next month, and I even plan to hire her to help me learn to do my daily makeup… she’s that good.
