I was referred to Ryan by a coworker that uses him as their jeweler. I bought an engagement ring from him and he said he would provide papers and appraisal. I also bought a wedding band for the engagement ring once married. Ryan never provided papers for the ring. We asked him multiple times to appraise the ring so we can get it insured. We asked many times and even dropped it off to get the engagement ring and wedding band soldered together. No appraisal or acknowledgement of us asking to get it appraised. I went to a 3rd party jeweler to get the ring appraised. I paid Ryan 7500+ and the ring appraised to $5087. My wife got my wedding band from Ryan too. He took pictures of 2 rings I liked to try to order one that would be a combo of the styles together and ordered one that I was not excited about. He wanted to charge me 1800 For a 14kt white gold ring (4mm) and agreed to 1250 since it was not the ring I was looking for. Spent more on the ring 2 years ago than it’s worth today with the price of gold at an all time high. He’s happy when you’re a customer but if you have an issue, you’ll be left on read (or just not opened). Pretty bummed with my experience.

I met with Ryan because I wanted to put my engagement diamond in a bezel set. I had an idea of what I wanted. Ryan listened, took notes, gave me options and created a unique piece that exceeded my expectations. And he did on a tight timeline as I was only visiting Scottsdale for a few weeks.
