Ms. Huguette and J&M Bistro are truly in a class of their own. Yes, the Bistro is located inside a corporate building—but let me be very clear: this is nothing like a typical corporate café. I’ve worked in corporate environments for years, and this space completely redefines the experience. The environment is warm, elevated, and welcoming—and the food is consistently outstanding. From salads and wraps to lamb chops, tomahawk steak, jerk chicken, mac & cheese balls, spring rolls, grilled and fried fish, plantains, spring rolls, beignets, and rich, African-inspired greens—the menu is thoughtful, bold, and beautifully executed. The plating is exceptional (even for to-go orders—you almost don’t want to eat it). This is fusion done right. The kind of food that has grown men coming back for seconds… and thirds. Honestly, the food needs no seasoning or additional sauces—but the ones she provides are exceptional. Everything is fresh, clean, made daily (and often prepared when you place your order), and crafted with so much love that you can truly taste it. And let’s talk about the drinks—because I love them. The complimentary cantaloupe, guava, and tropical infusion drinks served with meals are refreshing, perfectly balanced, and done right. People throughout our office and the building agree—these drinks are just as memorable as the food. They also offer catering for all types of events and operate a food truck, which speaks to their versatility and excellence beyond the Bistro. The owner and staff often share that the Bistro feels fun and “easy” for them compared to the pace of special event catering and food truck work—and that it gives them peace. You can absolutely feel that energy in the food, the service, and the overall experience. The service is lovely, smooth, professional, and seamless—invisible in the best way. I intentionally bring my clients here regularly to meet and catch up because they simply do not miss. This is my top and first choice for food, catering, and events. I’m genuinely excited for Ms. Huguette, her family, and her staff—whom she embraces and invests in like family. I truly wish them overflow, abundance, and prosperity—tenfold of what they pour into the community and into every dish they serve. If you want to host an unforgettable event without the stress—working with J&M Catering is a must. Huguette and Chef brought the magic for our guys night out, and I can’t stop raving about it. I gave her the date and time, and she ran with it. I didn’t have to plan a thing—she curated a perfect menu, brought masculine-themed decor (think hats, cigars, bold details), and made the whole space look incredible without me even asking. The food? Perfect for the audience. Think lamb chops, and tomahawk steak, Jerk Chicken, Mac & cheese balls, and delicious African inspired greens. The kind of food that has grown men asking for seconds (and thirds). The service? Smooth, professional, invisible in the best way—they served the meal buffet style and cleaned up like they were never there. The best part—they even packed up leftovers for each guest to take home. It was like grown-up party favors, and we loved it. J&M didn’t just cater a dinner—they created an experience. If you want your event to feel easy, impressive, and full of flavor, you can’t go wrong with them. They are my new go to for all my celebrations.

Her food was unbelievably delicious. Every dish was amazing in flavor and tenderness. She prepared for us spring rolls, jerk chicken, shrimp, brisket wraps, mac n cheese balls, all with their specific needed sauces. 10/10

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing J & M Catering Services catering my event, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The food was simply amazing—each dish was beautifully garnished and perfectly seasoned, creating an appealing and delectable presentation that left our guests in awe. Particular highlights included the fresh, crisp salad, tender and flavorful lamb chops, and exquisitely spiced jerk chicken kebabs. The mini beef patties were a hit, as were the salmon sliders, offering a delightful mix of textures and tastes. The samosas provided an irresistible burst of savory flavor, while the berry lemonade was the perfect refreshing complement to the meal. Every item on the menu was meticulously prepared and showcased the culinary expertise of J & M Catering Services. The overall experience was one to remember, and I look forward to using having them cater future events.

For an unforgettable Afro-Caribbean dining experience, J&M Bistro is the place! From start to finish, every bite was pure perfection. The salmon, catfish, jerk chicken, steak, kale salad, chicken quesadillas and the jollof style rice were seasoned and cooked to absolute excellence. The atmosphere was just as incredible, with a warm and welcoming vibe complemented by a fantastic music selection. Exceptional food, amazing service and an experience provided by Chef Huguette and her team that we’ll be raving about for a long time.
