We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with JM Event Planning for our private house dinner in Los Angeles! In January 2026, we contracted JM Event Planning & Hospitality Staffing to secure a waiter for a private house dinner with 10 guests. Ken, co-owner of JM Event Planning, was our waiter for the evening, and treated each guest with attention and care during pre-dinner drinks and all throughout the dinner service that night. Even with less than 48 hours' notice, JM jumped in right away to be as flexible as possible. Since the dinner was pulled together fairly quickly, we did not have time to run through the menu for the evening ahead of time, so our chef stepped in to introduce each course. Our dinner ran a bit longer than we had discussed, so we did not catch Ken before he left, but the main service was absolutely excellent. Thank you so much, Jennifer and Kenneth!

🎉✨ Highly recommend JM Event Planning and Production! ✨🎉 We used JM Event Planning and Production for our backyard party and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the stunning balloon setup to Ken the super fun blackjack dealer, everything was seamless and such a hit with our guests. ♠️♥️ They also supplied a massive light-up “65”, which became the centerpiece of the party and looked amazing in photos all night long! 🎈📸 Professional, easy to work with, and they made the whole event stress-free so we could actually enjoy the party. warning!! stay away!! do not work with this vendor! took my money for an event to bartend and never responsed or showed up. almost ruined the entire event and made me so stressed out to get a backup in time. she never refunded my money and has still not responded. stay away!! zero stars.

Jennifer was an absolute savior for a last minute 50th birthday I hosted for a friend. I reached out less than two weeks before the event and she was so professional from every touch point, responding quickly, clearly and with fair pricing. The day of she showed up for setup two hours before guests, set out all my decorations, plated our charcuterie table, stocked the bar, even helped us figure out cocktail table locations and move furniture when we changed the plan. I was able to step away to get ready and came back to everything being perfectly set. Her service was impeccable handling restock of our appetizers, tray passing others and handling the birthday cake. The bar was 10/10 with real glassware and stellar martinis and margaritas, all with homemade syrups and beautifully garnished. The whole team was a delight. I really only want to work with her on special events from now on. It took all the stress of hosting away and allowed us to enjoy the party. We heard nothing but rave reviews from guests. JM Event are fabulous. We called them last minute for a 50th surprise party and they took control of the situation. Helping with everything from fantastic hand made cocktails in glass, not plastic, figuring out, ordering and picking up food and full set up with tables, decorations and the works. JM made it look easy and they are so wonderful and friendly. We truly could not have pulled this off without them. We will be booking them for our next party and you should too. 5-stars all the way.
