Dear Master Joe, I have read about your story of martial art from your website. I agree that boxing may become a more effective combat system than other martial arts. My background is ITF Taekwondo. My taekwondo teacher incorporated boxing techniques into his teaching in 90's. I also trained in kickboxing with a kung fu teacher at Blacktown for my fitness to go for my blackbelt test of Taekwondo in 1998. Recently, I learnt Kenpo when I was in uni. My Kenpo teacher regerted that he did not study boxing in the past. Therefore, I incorporated my learnted boxing techniques into my self practice of karate (I leant Goju Ryu system now) at home. I know the Parramatta Hapkido Group incorporated boxing into their Hapkido training in the past and went for Kung Fu Full Contact Tournament of N.S.W. around 1989. Yours sincerely, Eric regards,

Joe is one of our main sponsors in Australia, thanks to Joe, Emilio, my son and I have been able to realize our dream of obtaining the best boxing level in Australia and obtaining our own practice space. Thank you Joe for all your support you give us every week and we will continue to work together in this life to make boxing grow. Let's go for more on this beautiful sporting and social path 🙏

As a member myself and my disabled son, I can highly recommend Joe and his team. A very welcoming environment for beginners with a no-fuss, down to earth approach. My son has been for many years and has benefited no end from Joe and his patient but steady team. A good guy and a great place to learn new skills and meet new people.

I trained at Joe's Boxing for several years and loved every moment of it. The old school aesthetic, hardwood floors and walls lined with fight posters creates sanctuary where one can switch off from the outside world and focus on honing their craft and get a great workout in the process. Joe has great relationships with some Australian boxing royalty, namely Jeff Fenech and Justann Crawford, who are regularly in the gym training professional and amateur boxers. Justann, Australia's most decorated amateur boxer who competed at multiple Olympic Games, runs the classes on Tuesday evenings which alone are worth the price of admission. The Black Shirt Program which culminated in an exhibition style bout in front of my family and friends, was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience, one that I still reflect on and talk about to anyone who'll listen. Joe is a passionate coach and mentor and someone that I, along with many of his members past and present, consider a friend. If I haven't made it clear already, I highly recommend Joe's Boxing Gym for anyone looking to get in shape, stay in shape and test their mettle in the great sport they call the sweet science.
