Best architect in South Texas-- especially if you want to preserve or renovate an existing mid-century the right way. Detail-conscious designs that actually looked like how they were described on paper. On new-builds, hire him NOW, because just like these O'Neil Ford properties, Grable-designed properties will have a cult following someday when he's gone. Another really important note-- you want an architect that supervises and handles the contractors for you. John Grable does this, and does it well. Let your architect make sure his visions get executed correctly. Clients who butt-in and try to micromanage end up disappointed, not realizing that if it was their interference that caused the project to go poorly. Especially true if you're luded-out on prescription painkillers and sitting around the jobsite all day. Just let the master do his work.
