I took a day off work to run errands and bring a suit to my local tailor for alterations. My usual tailor wasn't open during their business hours so I hit the web and decide to drive across town to John's Tailors. No regrets. He provided a pleasant experience during the initial visit. Took measurements and provided some suggestions. I picked up my suit a 8 days later; no issues with the turnaround as it was reasonable and l was in no hurry. I'm very particular about fit; I must say they nailed it. I wanted to show 1/4 inch cuff and that's exactly what was delivered; despite me having one longer arm, both arms show the act length I asked for. The suit fits well and the work was quality. Courteous service and quality work. I can't ask for much else. Proceed with confidence. December, 2025 Edit: Prices up ($40 to taper dress shirt sides) which is to be expected perhaps but timeline not met and lack of communication of timeline changes is more disappointing.

I can’t say enough good things about John’s Tailors! I come in regularly with all kinds of fashion experiments and the owner always takes them on without hesitation. She has such a great eye and always manages to make everything fit perfectly, no matter how unconventional my ideas are. What really stands out is how kind and accommodating she is. She puts so much care into her work and always charges far less than she should for the amount of effort and precision she puts in. It’s honestly rare to find someone this talented, patient, and consistent. If you’re into fashion, have creative alteration ideas, or just want your clothes to fit exactly right, this is the place to go. I trust her with everything I own — from everyday clothes to my favorite statement pieces — she never lets me down!

Came here to get a bridesmaid dress altered. Super fast turnaround time. Super reasonable and transparent price compared to places I have been in the past. Fit perfectly after alterations! 2025 update - I have come here 3 times to get bridesmaid dresses altered and they are the best!
