Won’t take my clothing anywhere else in the Twin Cities. Lorraine and her husband are exceptionally talented, and I hope they continue doing alterations for as long as I live here. Alterations I’ve had done, each of which has been flawless: taking in side seams (including seams of thick sweaters), tapering suiting legs, slimming sleeves, reconstructing the waist of a knit dress, removing the sleeves from a merino sweater. Edit: Years later and I still take all my complex alterations to Lorraine. She and her husband are incredibly kind and talented. Her alterations make me feel dressed to the nines at any size!

Laurine is AMAZING! She is a talented seamstress and also a very kind person! I always enjoy our little chats when I drop/pick things up. For years I’ve been bringing my daily wear, simple/difficult mending projects, costumes, jackets, all manor of wild fits to her and she always delivers! The price is right, it always feels perfectly reasonable. She really knows what she’s doing. I’ve sent all my friends to her and they all sing her praises as well!
