Jacob at Johnson Fitness and Wellness delivered one of the best retail experiences my wife and I have ever had!! From the moment we walked in, there was zero pressure and a 100% focus on helping us make the right decision for our fitness levels, goals, and lifestyle.
We came in, intending to just test the Peloton Tread and Tread Plus. He let us run on multiple treads for nearly two hours, including the two Peloton models we were interested in, as well as a Woodway and a Landice. As marathoners and OTF competitive runners, this level of testing was critical for the $3k-$6k purchase. Jacob understood that immediately. He encouraged us to push the machines, testing speeds >12MPH, dialing in interval acceleration and deceleration, and really feeling the differences in foot strike, responsiveness, and overall ride quality. He didn't rush us or, even worse, hover around us. Jacob provided genuine support and deep product knowledge.
Once we settled on the Tread Plus, Jacob went above and beyond by introducing us to the Tonal 2 home gym, which will absolutely be our next purchase. He was incredibly enthusiastic, walked us through the system, and let us try multiple workouts so we could really understand the experience.
And as if that wasn’t enough, while he was checking us out, Jacob had my wife and me relax in two of their high-end massage chairs. That moment perfectly summed up the experience. Thoughtful, generous, customer-first.
Jacob is exceptionally knowledgeable about his equipment, passionate about fitness, and genuinely invested in helping customers find what’s right for them. No sales pressure, just outstanding service from start to finish. If you’re even considering fitness equipment, do yourself a favor and work with Jacob. We absolutely will again.

Was a much more efficient way to learn the difference between stationary bikes, upright bikes and recumbent bikes, and we ended up with an amazing deal to purchase a very slightly used product (saving more than $1,300 off MSRP including delivery and taxes) that we fell in love with in the store. Jacob was great help, super knowledgeable - will return here again the next time we want to try out and explore exercise equipment for our home!
