Really recommend Joseph James. We visited the Stretford store and found the staff really helpful and not in a pushy way. From ordering on the Friday delivery was the following Wednesday. Keith and his delivery team were great and worked hard to get the sofas in place, especially as it was a little tight getting through doors! Thanks to everyone for their help!

Really happy with the help I’ve received from all the staff at Joseph James. So glad I decided to call in here. Upon arrival I was welcomed and advised to let anyone know if I needed anything, then left to it to wander around with no pressure or hard sales tactics like some well known stores. Feeling comfortable helped me relax and choose the furniture I wanted. I was really grateful when I asked questions that the staff went through every detail with me to make sure I was certain and happy with my decision. I received the best customer service in store, and on the phone. It’s refreshing that the process wasn’t stressful, it was honest, and I saved a huge amount of money shopping here rather than other known furniture stores. Joseph James have been so accommodating and helpful as they’ve stored my sofa and bed while works being done on the house. They taken a load of stress away and made it a pleasurable experience. I’ve had one of my sofas delivered so I can sit down whilst the work finishes,which they happily accommodated. The delivery guys were also great, no messing, both really friendly and polite and efficient. Joseph James was recommended by friends. I visited the Stretford showroom on their advice and was not disappointed. I was pleased with the range of furniture on offer and found exactly what I was looking for. Josh was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and provided just the level of service that I required. He made the whole experience stress free. After sales service was also great with short delivery slots and good communication right up to the point of delivery. Everyone I came into contact with was professional and polite. Thoroughly recommended.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Joseph Jones Furniture for years, right from their early days. Sadly, my recent experience has been really disappointing. I bought a new sofa, but quickly realised it wouldn’t fit into my new home. I asked to swap it — a like-for-like change — but was met with poor communication and a flat refusal. After weeks of chasing, I was left with a sofa I can’t use and no real help from the team. It’s upsetting to see a once-great company lose its personal touch. I really hope the management see this and reconsider.

Faultless from start to finish. I went to the Stockport showroom and Matt greeted me, he was friendly and helpful. I ordered on 22.04.25 and my sofa bed and kitchen dining were delivered on 25.04.25. Other shops have waiting times of 6-11 weeks. Had I not ordered my beds already I would have got them from here. Delivery guys Darren and Connor were great too! very happy customer
