I am so happy this place exists. It's amazing to be able to buy fresh fruits and vegetables that are so local, I wish we had more places like this! I bought their golden delicious apples and they were delicious! You could tell they were picked ripe, just like they advertise. Their warren pears were also ripe and tasty. Good delicata squash as well. Thank you J&P farm for providing local produce to our community!
Went to buy some fruit and pumpkins. After buying some fruit we went to the pumpkin patch and my 5 year old daughter saw a huge pumpkin and went to hug it. The old owner immediately went at my daughter. “Don’t touch the pumpkin, it cost $120!” It’s a pumpkin patch, if you don’t want kids to touch them, maybe you’re in the wrong business. My daughter was immediately downbeat cuz she was reprimanded by some stranger for nothing. Anyhow we left shortly after and made sure not to buy the pumpkins there. I honestly wanted to go at the owner for even talking to my daughter and return the over priced $30 fruit I just bought. Decided to take the higher road and be a good example for my kiddos. Anyway I won’t be coming back anymore. I like supporting small family business, which is why I’ve been coming for a while, but not rude ungrateful owners.
What a delightful place, right here in the middle of suburbia! We should all be grateful to the Cosentino Family for preserving this little bit of heaven. While I've lived in the South Bay for a while, today is the first time I've been there. I've been missing out on deliciously fresh fruits and vegetables, pop-up foods, special events, and a whole array of locally made jams, condiments, and baked goods. And what a great time to bring your family to visit the pumpkin patch! Do yourself a favor, visit Cosentinos and support a local family and farm fresh produce, and enjoy a lovely time with your little ones.
Came here last weekend and picked up two boxes of stone fruit. The stall is very cute and the produce is very fresh, though it is pricey ($16 for a small box). I want to give this place 5 stars because of the great produce and history but unfortunately several of the peaches we bought have live worms in them, even though they are very very sweet.
The best local stand in SJ! I came across this gem and I love to come here for local veggies and fruits. Every season they have different selection of produce, and they also have dehydrated fruits all year round. If you come during the summer they have a large garden where you can sit down and enjoy the weather. They also host local workshops for children and people interested in learning about the farm. Keep in mind this is a cash only establishment, and although they have a trust system where people can leave the money, they do have tons of cameras around to ensure no one is stealing.
