JP’s staff did AMAZING leather stretching work for me in a pinch. He is slammed with work but was able to fit me in. I expected a 3-4 week turnaround but his guy got it back to me much earlier than expected! Great work, glad I didn’t attempt it myself. Highly recommend!

JP refinishing did a fantastic job stripping 4 100y/o cabinet doors for me. It was one side only with 8 layers of paint. They were too pretty to restain, but I had no choice. They are coming out beautiful.

JP Furniture Refinishing and Upholstery is an incredible company - I personally will not go anywhere else. Cannot say enough good things about this company. We found Justo after having a terrible experience with a previous furniture maker, losing a lot of money , and 2 years later with no couches we were promised. We were hesitant to trust someone again doing custom work. Justo has gone above and beyond to prove there are wonderful people out and is work is just incredible. They have built us 3 very large couches (9-10 feet each), numerous pillows, two cowhide benches, extra-large console table, all from scratch. Each thing has come out perfect, stunning with noticeable intricate details which was seen every step of his building the pieces. My husband and I were particular about what we wanted after having lost a large sum of money from the previous furniture maker who did not even produce two of three items we paid for. Justo was extremely patient and understanding. He encouraged us to come and see each step of the process to be sure we were comfortable exactly how it was done before next steps were done. He also gave honest expertise and opinion on what he felt was best or what is seen in design studios. He is well organized as a business person – clearly setting jobs and giving timeframes and while he works on each project very focused but Emily always responded and followed up when needed. They never produced any of our items a day late. The people he has helping were always so kind, patient and helpful when we were at the factory. We will be having Justo and his team make additional items for our new home. I will always go back to JP furniture and upholstery, no where else.

JP Furniture Repair repaired, refinished, and reupholstered my spouse’s grandfather’s chair and footstool, an heirloom that’s probably about 80 years old. The quality of their craftsmanship was superb, and everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and professional. We had taken other bids for this restoration and their offer was far and away the most reasonable. It’s a family owned and local (Chicago) business, and I can strongly recommend them without reservation. We’re certain to use them again!

Justo does an impeccable job restoring, refinishing and reupholstering furniture. He can do any task big or small in great timing & quality. Couldn't recommend JP Furniture Refinishing & Upholstery more!
