Julie is an exceptionally talented artist and teacher. I attended an art workshop given by her when I was younger and found her inspiring and instructive as a teacher. Recently she worked on a private commission for me, the result of which I was absolutely thrilled with. She is so talented at bringing subjects to life in her artwork and has such a creative, open-minded approach. I can't recommend her enough as an artist and teacher. Thank you Julie.

Julie's art classes are the best I have ever been to. She is good humoured ,encouraging and specific in her teaching. No matter if you are a beginner or practiced student you will learn a lot. Julie is a teacher who loves to teach and her classes have really been a positive experience for me.

Julie is the first art teacher who has helped me understand how to draw what is actually in front of me. She is an excellent teacher and I can really see progress both in my drawing and use of watercolours. I love the variety of objects/themes Julie offers as well as the use of different mediums. She gives short demos to get you started and often has a slideshow to offer inspiration. I have no hesitation in recommending Julie's classes which are inspiring, relaxed and fun. It is the most mindful activity I do all week.

I have been an art student with Julie for over 4 years after leaving art behind for 25 after school! Weekly class has become a must for me to feed my creative itch. Julie’s art work is amazing and her skills as a teacher are second to none! I’ve done many art courses around the world and Julie has yet to be beaten in my opinion for her knowledge and teaching skill and clarity!!

Julie is an exceptional teacher and excellent artist. I love her classes and have learnt so much. The classes are well attended with lots of returning students. Beginners are made very welcome. Julie puts everyone at their ease and caters to all levels of skill and experience. Highly recommended.
