I engaged Just Arting Around to come into my senior building for a painting party for my fellow residents. It was great fun! The other participants were very pleased with the experience, too. A good time was had by all! I would recommend this as a fun activity for residents of senior buildings and other living situations of that type. Sid had everything ready for us and it was only $35 per person, which included all the items necessary to produce a painting. She was a great instructor, creative, patient, and funny! We learned a lot of useful tips and I was surprised how good most of the paintings came out considering none of us was particularly artistic. I definitely want to do this again at the senior building I recently moved into. Thanks for a great time, Sid. See you next time!

I attended one of the artist’s classes at her studio in St. Paul. She was thoroughly prepared and have everyone’s supplies ready when we all arrived. She had offered selections for Powhatan to paint and was really helpful in demonstrating techniques, color use and blending, and everything needed for us to complete our individual masterpieces that really included our own personalities and preferences. I appreciated her patience, her ability to adapted instruction as needed, and that she made sure everyone was having a positive experience. I am not a talented artist but could almost believe I have some skill now! This was a cool experience!

Such a fun and positive night we had. Highly recommend going with a small group of family or friends. To start Sid showed us so many paintings we could choose from. We chose painting black cats. Sid showed us how to paint step by step in a very easy and fun way. Very enjoyable couple of hours!
