Calm and gentle place. Wonderful space for meditation.
Wow what a fantastic Sangha community, professional and easy going with a loving vibe. Location and surroundings are beautiful and contempory, with great spiritual teachers focused on compassion and joy.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to really become a meditator and strengthen your meditation practice, this is the place to com visit. Lovely facility. The day long retreat for beginners in meditation was really great!
Beginner friendly. Offers free drop in classes, self guided meditation hours, deeper study programs around Buddhist teachings from their founding author. Really kind community, almost entirely community run. Good place to meet interesting international people.
This is an oasis in the middle of Los Angeles for finding inner peace. I started by coming to the lunch time meditations, and everyone I met was very friendly and helpful. Gradually, I started coming to the General Program classes, pujas (chanted prayers) and eventually joined Foundation Program for more intensive study and meditation. You can take your meditation practice to whatever level you want, and there is never any pressure (other than people genuinely being happy to see you)!
