A genuinely peaceful and welcoming space in the heart of Edinburgh. I’ve attended meditation classes and workshops at the Kadampa Meditation Centre on Leith Walk and always feel supported and at ease. The teachings are clear, practical and easy to apply in everyday life. There’s a lovely sense of community, and I consistently leave feeling calmer and more grounded, especially after a busy week. Highly recommended.

This Buddhist centre is an amazing and beautiful place. The teachers present are excellent and there is a wide variety of classes and courses that allow you to explore meditation and Buddhist teachings at your own pace. It is a vibrant, active place, clean, tidy and well kept, with a coffee shop and space to relax and read. The shrine is incredible and impressive. It is affordable, at a great location and has free parking. Most importantly, the aim of the centre is to help you become happier and more peaceful so it's a very precious centre.

Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh is a beautiful, tranquil place in the heart of the city which offers practical advice on how to navigate life and find true happiness. It is welcoming to all and you can take as much or as little as you like, there's no judgement. Some of the 'Sangha' (community) consider themselves Buddhists, some just come to meditate and some are a half way house! I've practiced with Kadampa for around 13 years now in various locations and it's changed my life.
