We have been using Karen for YEARS. She has a key to our house, and our pups think of her as a part of the family (we do too!). She is super tuned in to their behavior and if anything ever seems even remotely off she lets us know. Our dogs absolutely love her and we are so glad to have her in their lives! I can't recommend her enough.
Karen is a gem! She has been boarding our dog for 7+ years and also walked him as part of a duo of senior pups. She exudes care and compassion, and is always attuned to everything...our dog's schedule, feeding, walks, and companionship. Our dog loves going to Karen's house and enjoys time with Sasha there. I give her my highest praise (and our dog echoes that with barks). You'd be truly lucky to have Karen's love and care for your four-legged friend.
Karen has been walking my dog George for almost a year now, and she has been such a blessing to us as newcomers to the area. George is a terrier and therefore doesn’t have great recall, and Karen is so patient with keeping him on leash and has really helped improve his leash manners! She has also watched him a few times if we have long days in the city or nights away, and he always comes back tired and happy. So grateful we found Karen, and highly recommend her services!
Karen Schratter is absolutely wonderful with my pup, Loki. She walked him daily, handled his reactivity so, so well, and always, always treated him respectfully and lovingly. Karen does amazing pack walks, too! She is attentive, conscientious, and extremely communicative, which I always appreciated. Has we not moved out of CA, I would continue to have Karen walk and care for Loki.
Karen has cared for, boarded and walked our dog, Harvey for weekends and several weeks at a time. I have used her for many, many years. Harvey is always happy to be with her and any other sweet dogs she cares for. Karen is loving, attentive and so good with all the dogs. She regularly sends pictures of them having fun together, which helps put our minds at ease while we are separated from our dear pup. Our dog needs daily medication and Karen always makes sure she understands all the details required. Dogs are always just having a good time in her house and fenced yard if they are not out on a walk. No crates are used (though if an owner wanted their dog crated, I’m sure she would oblige). I recommend Karen’s Pet Kare 100% without reservation! She is a gem for pets and owners alike!
