I cannot say enough amazing things about Kayla at Kastle Blak Fitness. Over the past two years, she completely changed my life in the best way possible. I would strongly caution anyone considering Kastle Blak or working with its owner, Kayla. I recently overheard her making extremely disrespectful comments about my husband to another member, calling him fat with a “beer belly” and even going so far as to insult his face. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any business, but especially in a gym where people come to improve themselves and should feel supported, not ridiculed. A trainer’s job is to motivate and encourage — not to demean clients behind their backs. It speaks volumes about the kind of culture being fostered at Kastle Blak. If you’re looking for a positive, uplifting fitness environment, this is not it. There are far better trainers and gyms in the area that will actually respect you and help you reach your goals.
I started training with Kayla in the beginning of October 2024. The First week of December, my wife discovered I was having an affair and wanted a separation. Instead of sitting in my man cave and crying about it I continued to train with Kayla and she got me through my separation with my wife during the Xmas season. I had to move out and Kayla put me in such a good mood that my training sessions with her were awesome! If you want an ordinary personal trainer to train you then by all means go ahead and hire one. But if you want to be trained by a super hero then you need to go see Kayla. Even her name sounds like a superhero - KAYLA of KASTLE BLAK! Thank you Kayla for being there for me during a difficult time in my life. Thank you for getting me in good shape and losing 1 inch off my waist. You will always be a super hero in my eyes. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I will return to Kastle Blak one day and I highly recommend KB for all your exercise and diet needs. Kayla is the best trainer! I have seen her help my dad tremendously this year. He is dedicated and consistent because of her great coaching. He is so strong, eats extremely well, and extremely fit. My dad is in better shape than me and twice my age! Thanks Kayla for giving my dad the tools to be healthy, fit, confident, and motivated to take care of himself, especially since he had major heart surgery a few years ago! We are so grateful for you!
Kayla is nothing short of amazing! She is professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and she truly cares. Kayla takes the time to learn about her clients and their fitness goals, and then she puts together a custom plan tailored specifically for them with not only workouts in the gym, but meal plans and exercises for non-gym days to keep you motivated and on track.
