Timothy from Kato did a fantastic job for my scope. I needed two plugs and one new line run from the junction box into my living room, one floor down. Tim came through and discussed the options prior to giving me a well written estimate. I ultimately chose to go with Kato based on the lowest impact to my home (cutting and making holes). He took time at the start to fully go through the planned placement for the lines and plugs. He took his time and thought through the process early, and did this all with just one open cut into the wall. The rest was done with fishing and small covered plates (even when going down a full floor!). He was efficient and professional, and even my dog was OK with him working in our home for the day. The plugs got put in, place cleaned up, and minimal effort now to patch up the cuts.

Andrew O’Connor did a stellar job on our recent kits condo renovations. All electrical was switched to SMART technology with Leutron and MYSA. The job was done in record time to accommodate our schedule We love the control we have of all our flighting and heating through our smart devices. Andrew is very easy to work with, professional and we look forward to his help with our second set of renovations in 2026. We had a seamless experience with Kato replacing 2 old bathroom fans. Jonathon came out to check the fans and provide a quote, Marina the office manager arranged the service and communication was seamless with all parties from start to finish. I really appreciated how they valued our time, were reliable and transparent. We’re very happy with the work they did and would absolutely use Kato again!

Tremendous experience with Kato electrician Colin, and with Marina in the head office. I had a site visit booked within 1 day of reaching out, and the process and charges were shared upfront. Colin was professional, diligent, and very pleasant to work with! Despite the fact that our electrical issue was something he'd never dealt with before, he investigated and quickly identified the problem, and had it solved in short order. He answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly, and he worked quickly and efficiently. Can't recommend Kato enough - thanks Colin!

I recently had Mohammad from Kato Electrical install an EV charger at my home in Vancouver, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Of all the electricians I contacted, Mohammad was by far the most thorough. He is extremely knowledgeable about EV chargers and helped me choose the right one for my needs. Before starting, he completed detailed load calculations to ensure everything was safe and fully compliant, with no shortcuts taken. On installation day, his work was meticulous, efficient, and professional, and he maintained a friendly, respectful demeanor throughout. It is rare to find someone who takes such pride in doing the job properly. I feel very confident in the quality of the work and sleep well knowing everything was done right. I highly recommend Mohammad and Kato Electrical and would absolutely use them again.
