We signed up our Bloodhound, 5 months old Huck for the Puppy Primer program and Sam did an excellent job teaching him the basic skills to help us to be able to take him on family outings and him not drag us around and so our grandchildren could enjoy playing with him without all the jumping and chewing. He’s a different puppy now and it’s all thanks to Sam and Kentucky Dog Training LLC

Sam has been excellent to work with! I look forward to dog club every week! Sam is very knowledgeable and patient, and has created a space to work with your dogs that is nonjudgmental. Working with her is allowing me to grow in my skills as a handler and strengthening the relationship between my dogs and I! Highly recommend working with her! Most recently she has worked with my pet dog, a rescue pit mix who was struggling. She has made great strides with him and is helping me communicate with him effectively. This has made him a much more enjoyable dog to live with.

Sam is absolutely amazing to work with. She’s extremely knowledgeable but comes across humble and helpful. She’s great with the dogs. She’s had 3 of mine in board and train programs and my girls love her. She takes wonderful care of them and I know they are safe with her. I trust her 150%. And the results are fantastic. My Lady is well on her way to getting invites to Rally Nationals next year after spending the summer with Sam to earn some titles. My Aspen is also racking up some titles and Sam is coaching me on showing her in conformation and doing rally with her myself. And my Valka just came home today, happy, healthy and ready to try to earn some titles herself. Sam has also been a great coach for me as I work through some anxiety issues and try to show my dogs myself. I’m absolutely thankful for the help she has given me and can’t wait to see what my pack can accomplish with her coaching us.

I sent my dog to Sam at Kentucky Dog Training for the Distraction program after it was recommended to me by my Vet. He struggled with confidence at times and could be quite reactive. I have told multiple people that this is one of the best or the best thing I have done for this dog! He is happy and much more self-assured; this has translated to us having an even better relationship and I can more confidently take him out. He gets to have a much fuller life because of the relationship Sam built with him and the training she has done with him. I have recommended her to multiple people and will use Sam and Kentucky Dog Training with future dogs.

Samantha from Kentucky Dog Training LLC trained our big stubborn Great Pyrenees and he’s a whole new dog even after almost a year. Best decision ever!! Before he went to the board and train, he was the absolute worst to the point I was in tears constantly. Now, he listens (as much as a GP can 😂) and is so much more willing to listen! Sam was great about sending us updates and pictures of our boy while he was there and was super knowledgeable and answered our million questions. When we came to pick him up, Sam went over all of the commands with us and made sure we were comfortable with them, which was incredibly helpful. She even bathes the dogs staying with her and they get to hang out with her all day, so they’re definitely spoiled while they’re there! Sam was a lifesaver and has made life with our GP a million times easier. 10/10 recommend!!
