I had an amazing experience here. Make sure to get here early to get a spot in the free self-parking. I ended up doing the valet parking for $5. The nude area is completely optional. You receive a uniform and two towels upon entering the locker room. You get a locker and keys. I went to eat first and had spicy veggies tofu soup. I forgot the exact name. I brought my water bottle to fill up my water. There are several saunas to experience, ice room, beauty salon, juice bar, quiet area, chess room, and the list goes on. I look forward to coming back!
Clean sauna that’s more of a neighborhood place than a luxurious spa but it’s good for a relaxing day if you have a discount. I’m not sure the full price would’ve been worth it, but I got a holiday discount which is around the same price as the Groupon voucher. If you have the voucher I’d say it’s worth visiting as a new activity. Something to note is that they’ve been giving out face masks if you give a 5-star rating, which I wouldn’t say they’re undeserving of, but it’s good to know for future customers. The food provided inside was pretty decent for cafeteria food. The bingsoo is too sweet but the baked eggs are worth trying. Side note that if you miss the morning shuttle from Manhattan, you have to pay to ride the evening shuttle back from NJ.
The Korean spa experience was incredibly relaxing and refreshing. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the hot/cold baths along with the saunas felt amazing. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, making it a perfect self-care day. Definitely worth visiting if you want to unwind and recharge. Above all, the food was delicious!
I'd return again, but at a certain time. A weekday during the day, definitely an off time. Use valet there's no parking. Pros: A good amount of saunas, spread through 3 floors. The food was made quick and it was tasty! I got the fried dumplings, it was delicious and the salad. It was $20. Glancing at other people and their dish, everyone appeared pleased with the quality. I did not plan to order but changed my mind upon seeing the dishes. The areas were clean, tranquil, nice to see some TVs with games on and places to lounge. I fell asleep in the place where you can adjust this apparatus that provides warmth to your body. Cons: Depending on the day (I went on a Saturday rainy day around 2 pm -7 pm). It was packed! Every sauna I walked into had potentially 1-2 spots. There was one I never went into, but to be fair a group camped out in there. So 1 spot was in circulation. Within the sauna most ppl were quiet, sometimes ppl will talk in another language thinking it's equivalent to being quiet. When it's packed you can hear the voices outside, which is why I believe an off day/hour will be transform the experience. The food prices I wasn't expecting, $35-40. I was glad to see a $20 dish. Next time I come I'll try one of those dishes and edit this if needed. You don't get to select your shirt and shorts. It seems they do a good job estimating, but mine was slightly tight. Not a big deal though, I'm sure they'll accommodate if asked.
This place is very traditional but in a good way! It’s not a place where you’ll find kids running around laughing and playing like an outdoor spa competitor. My husband and I came to relax a bit and it was perfect. The food was good and the ambiance was as expected. I took one star away because I really wanted a hot water spa to enjoy with my husband but there wasn’t one, they only had a female jacuzzi area where you’re fully wearing what god gave you lol I don’t mind but my husband wasn’t a fan.
