We boarded our dog, at this pet hotel from 24 December to 12 January. When he came home, we noticed wounds on his leg and around his cheek/neck area, which was very concerning. We contacted KIP, however we were told there was no incident report from staff, including during his bath the day before pickup. The wounds appeared not recent, as they looked slightly dried. We took Louie to the vet, who confirmed the neck wound was a hot spot and advised that we were fortunate to bring him in early, as it could have become more serious if left untreated. We emailed photos of the injuries but have not received any response. We provide the photo of his leg and also his neck before and after vet treatment.

Exceptional. Our German shepherd Axel had an extended stay at Kip Adelaide Hills whilst we were overseas; his first time boarding at a kennel. The team took wonderful care of Axel, navigated his eccentricities deftly & sent adorable daily updates. Knowing he was in good hands allowed us to relax & enjoy a big family holiday. Since returning, Axel has slipped straight back into his home routine with no issues. We are incredibly impressed with this team & it’s given us the confidence to book more adventures where travel with a pet just isn’t possible. A big thanks from our family to yours!

Thank you to Kip for taking such great care of Rex while I was away, it was my first time boarding him and he had an awesome time. It was lovely getting daily updates and seeing all the things he was doing, it really helped ease the anxiety of being away from him for so long. Could not recommend Kip Adelaide Hills any more, the best dog boarding experience out of everyone I know

Highly recommend Kip Adelaide Hills for dog boarding. The process of booking online was easy & the entry requirements (eg: vaccination) clear & thorough. As a first time user, I took the opportunity to visit for an inspection of the facility & found the staff members welcoming & knowledgeable. They put my mind at rest that my beloved pet was in good hands. During the stay we looked forward to the active camera feed which gave us great peace-of-mind: we could see that our dog was happy & interacting well with other dogs. When we collected her at the end of her stay, the carers had genuinely connected with her & gave her big pats goodbye - you could see that they liked their work. They were able to provide feedback on how she had settled in. Altogether it was a positive experience & we would not hesitate to board her again with Kip Adelaide Hills if the need arose.

Franklin had such a great time at Kip Adelaide Hills! You can see from the photo how happy he was hanging out with his new buddies. Getting daily photo updates was such a nice touch — it made it so much easier to be away from him, knowing he was being looked after and having fun. Really appreciate the care the team gave him. Would definitely recommend Kip to anyone needing a place for their pup to stay!
