I am brand new to Krav Maga, though I have pondered becoming a student for several years now. I wasn't sure at first where to go to be trained, though I knew one thing innately - it needed to be someplace with a strong sense of community and collaboration, as I find this to be indispensable in learning such skills. I have definitely found that at Krav Maga Raleigh. Since I started, I have been embraced by a wonderful group of folks, who are very serious about what they teach, but still do so with a sense of caring about the individual, and even a some humor as well. I think I have found a home.

Great level one class experience for my first practice! I learned a bunch of useful stuff day one and enjoyed the coaching style!

Training at KMR for the past year has been the best experience! Each instructor brings their own strengths to the classes they teach, but it’s always a fun and challenging time no matter what. I always leave the gym feeling inspired by all the strong/kind/disciplined people that I train with. If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend trying it out:)

Recently did a self defense workshop. It was fun, empowering, and left me feeling like a superhero! Highly recommend!
