The restaurant was dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. There was a foul odor even from the waiting area. My son wanted to pick his own restaurant for his birthday. I’m sad to say we invited our whole family and it was embarrassing. If you don’t want to or can’t invest in cleaning up your restaurant then you should consider closing the doors. Please take the feedback from the hardworking individuals that choose to spend their money here. We will not be a return customer.

Food has gone wayyyyy downhill. The oil family from out of town here and was so embarrassed by the service the carpet the decor the food absolutely everything. Been going there since I was in middle school and place still looks and smells the exact same. Malete 5 min drive up the street to geisha, its worth it.

To begin with, the place was filthy. The 25 year old carpet had 10 year old rice woven into it. I almost got up and left. I ordered filet mignon and it was smaller than a hockey puck. It’s as if they cut three portions out of one filet, but charge you as much as possible. The servers were busy with their phones and I wasn’t offered a refill. Never again going back. I’ll stick with Geisha, which is less than a half mile away.

I love the food and service at Kyoto. Everytime I have brought my family here the food is tasty and fresh, the drinks are super fun and come in crazy cool exotic shaped ceramic cups, and the portions are generous. Just had a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding here and the teppenyaki chef made it super fun. You have to catch the shrimp in your mouth and see them make the onion volcano! Guaranteed fun time and yummy soup salad and great choices for a meal made in front of you. We had the chicken teriyaki, steak, scallops, and shrimp. They make beautiful fried rice, vegetables and the meat right in front of you exactly to your liking. Can’t beat the price for all you get. We had 18 people and they sat us in the more private back room. I was able to spoil the whole group with appetizers, fun drinks, and complete meal and entertain them for a reasonable price. The manager even allowed me to serve my own quick dessert. If you don’t have a big budget and want a less formal and fun rehearsal dinner spot, I recommend it!

I would like to thank all the staff members in Kyoto. I had brought my family here for my fathers birthday but my child was not in the mood and was throwing a tantrum. The chef that was on the grill was amazing, he tried to entertain my son and did everything to help to put a smile on his face to calm him down. I got the chicken and steak which was a 5/5. The prices for the hibachi were really good. We had a party of six and I ended up paying no more the $160 for everyone.
