can’t say enough good things about LA Dog School! Jennifer and Jessica are truly amazing they spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, answering every question with so much patience, kindness, and genuine care. It’s rare to find people who are not only knowledgeable but also truly care about you and your dog. You can tell they love what they do. I’m so grateful for their time and support!

My wife and I have a 90 pound German Shepard, Remi Rae. Very loving and playful dog, except she grew to be extremely leash reactive. As we plan to grow our family, my wife and I needed to be sure to have a 100% obedient dog so my wife would be comfortable knowing she can walk the dog with a baby/toddler and not have to worry about barking, lunging, and pulling constantly on leash. Remi came home after the three week training program and it’s been life altering. We no longer have to hold her back, we no longer worry, and best of all she’s always looking for our commands on and off leash. 11/10! Emily and Jennifer are fantastic.

I have a rescue puppy, part Bernese & Border Collie, who is very big (90+ pounds) and she was dragging me around. She was much bigger than I thought she'd be. I have owned a number of dogs but she was really challenging. She was also very scared of people but liked other dogs and easily spooked by sudden noises. The method that LA School for Dogs and the trainer, Emily, were so helpful in learning to control her. I worked with them for 6 weeks, 1 hour a week but also called or emailed several times with questions. The process we went through was very structured and made such a difference. By the end, I was better equiped to handle her and she became more confident. We communicated better through the repeated routine of sit, stay, down at a distance, come. Thanks to Jennifer for her methods and Emily for her persistance and training.

I adopted an 8 year old dog from a rescue and she was reactive towards people and other dogs. I was very concerned that I would have to return her to the rescue. I reached out and scheduled an evaluation with LA School For Dogs. The moment I met with Amber, I knew we were in good hands. I enrolled my dog, Tink, in the 3 week program and it was a life changing experience. Amber taught Tink and I how to communicate and she worked with both of us to develop skills that built our confidence and strengthened our relationship. I highly recommend this program, along with supplementing the training - as needed - with private lessons with Amber. The 3 week program helped lay a solid foundation for Tink and I to build on. Amber is very patient and extremely knowledgeable. Amber is INCREDIBLE!!! I highly recommend this program and Amber. Tink is no longer reactive to people or dogs. She walks on a loose leash without barking or pulling.

Jennifer helped us create a happy home with our two dogs. We have a puppy who had bad habits (the humans are to blame) and the older dog who picked up the habits too! We were frustrated and not enjoying our dog walks like we used to. Jennifer came recommended to us by several neighbors. We opted for the private weekly trainings for six weeks and our dogs are SO MUCH BETTER. We are able to command them and even do some fun tricks. So impressed by Jennifer’s way of teaching humans and training dogs. She is a natural and so great with the dogs. They love her!
