Our trip through Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda with Pristine Trails was absolutely unforgettable. Every detail was perfectly organized. We are usually used to planning our own trips but it was nice to have Kim planning everything for us as it can get a bit overwhelming. We spent about a week in the Serengeti we encountered virtually every animal we could have dreamed of seeing, from leopards and cheetahs to elephants, giraffes, and hippos. Our guide Peter was amazing! He was knowledgeable, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make each day special. Before the Serengeti we spent the week in Rwanda and Uganda.Visiting the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is an absolute must. The gorilla trekking was amazing but what was even more spectacular was the drive through the countryside of Uganda. It was absolutely breathtaking. We always felt cared for, and amazed by how smoothly everything ran. Pristine Trails made what could have been a complicated trip feel effortless and stress free. We couldn’t recommend them more!

With two other couples, our friends, we planned with Kim at Pristine the African Splendor 11 days/11 nights safari tour of the Tanzania savanas. Our driver/guide, Laurent, was just excellent! We also added two optional tours: Night Game Drive in Tarangire National Park (we saw very few wildlife on this drive), and the Hot Air Balloon Flight (a must to do!). The wild life, Laurent's excellent commentaries, meeting the beautiful Maasai people, the provided meals were all enjoyed. Highly recommend Pristine Trails Adventures for your Tanzanian animal and landscape safari!

My mom and I booked a trip with Pristine for mid-August of 2025. The trip was exceptional. We had a team of eleven: two guides, eight porters, and a cook. We were well fed with delicious meals throughout the trip, and felt very well accommodated. Everyday, our camp was fully set up by the time we arrived at camp, so that we could fully relax and rest before the following day's hike. Our two guides, Suley and Pasat, were friendly and informative, and would spend evenings with us at the dinner table. Their insights and experience were invaluable, from pacing during hikes to helping us prepare for weather conditions and the altitude. Our porters were always offering to help us carry our packs, which allowed us to focus on the experience entirely. Everyday, our guides did a medical assessment to monitor our gradual acclimatization to the altitude. On our summit push, our guides helped us make an informed safety decision due to my mom's worsening altitude symptoms, which we are very grateful for. We could not have asked for a better experience, and are so glad that we chose Pristine!

Pre-planning: Kim was so accommodating and reactive and flexible! Thank you! Accommodation: better than we could have found ourselves! Lovely places with the friendliest staff! Super clean! Food: every meal was like 4 starts! Delicious! Guide: Laurent went above and beyond! Loving our children like his, playing with them and accommodating to their rhythm! We spotted many animals and left with the best wildlife and family pictures! If you're still hesitating, know that Pristine is your perfect booking!

We just returned from a Tanzania safari, and I can only gush about how extraordinarily fabulous it was! The trip was brilliantly planned and executed by Pristine Trails Adventures & Safaris. I really appreciated the way they kept us organized even in the prep stage (with a timeline for insurance, vaccines, packing lists, etc.). All questions and concerns were addressed promptly (even while we were on the trip). Upon arrival, we found ourselves in the expert hands of our guide, Laurent Samila, who led us through the next 8 days of wonder! He joyfully shared with us his knowledge and his love of Tanzania, its people, its habitats, and the wildlife. He even taught us a little Swahili and had us singing and dancing at rest stops. Laurent has eagle eyes that located every animal we could imagine and some we never expected to see (like a black rhino mama nursing her baby)! We were blown away by each new discovery. We also marveled at how Laurent managed to give the road the attention it required, while simultaneously spotting camouflaged animals sitting quietly off in the distance! And then he would take us closer for a more meaningful viewing experience. The vehicle was well maintained, surprisingly comfortable, and well supplied. Every accommodation was stunningly located, comfortable, clean, and the staff were all so friendly—we felt surrounded by good will! I cannot name one thing I would have changed about this magical experience—all thanks to the Pristine Trails!
