Kimmy did a cateye gel mani for me. Incredibly smooth application and close to my cuticle without contacting my skin. Amazing. I’ll definitely come back 😌 Mani-pedi was $95 before tip!
Great work! Just walked in and they instantly made time for me. Definitely a very neat and detailed manicure with a great hand massage in the end. All in all I paid 40$ for a gel manicure. They also got a great color selection of OPI. Will be back! :)
I visited La Belle Nail Salon at 32 Tremont Street on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. I called ahead to make an appointment, but it probably wasn’t even necessary—the woman on the phone just said, “You can come now.” Tina did my gel pedicure and basic manicure, and I was really impressed with her attention to detail. She also gave an excellent massage, better than most I’ve had during a pedicure. I appreciate that the salon is convenient to where I live, and it’s also handicap accessible, located right on the first floor. One of the gentleman employees even helped me get in and out of the salon, which was a thoughtful touch. Prices were fair: $55 for the gel pedicure and $20 for the basic manicure. There’s no frequent customer rewards program, but the staff are friendly and the space is clean and calm. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I walked in and got a mani pedi in April. I initially didn't see anything too good or too bad about my experience outside of the time. I asked for gel X on my fingers and a basic gel pedicure, no designs. It took 2 hours because the manucurist kept messing up. She ended up filing down the natural nail on my left ring finger multiple times. It was notably more sensitive and I had to tell her to stop at one point. Nevertheless, I get the manicure, pay in cash and move on. The polish lasted a few weeks. As soon as I had the polish removed (acetone only), I noticed a dent in my fingernails, differentiating the new growth from where the polish was. It was a full ring of fire on every nail. She filed down so deep on my left ring finger that the nail is damaged. It's been almost 2 months and the damage still hasn't fully grown out. I would never recommend this place. Don't go here.
I've never felt the need to leave a bad review for a business before, but this experience was too egregious. This was by far the worst manicure I've ever received. First, the nails themselves: As you can see in the photos, the nail polish does not cover the entirety of the nail, and in some places it almost looks half-done. The tip of some nails are uneven and jagged. There are spots around the edge of my finger where they left polish and gel topper and didn't bother to wipe it off. And absolutely none of the finger nails have polish that reaches even close to the cuticle, leaving the manicure looking like 2-weeks old and grown-out instead of a fresh set. Finally, the experience: I was serviced for a gel manicure and pedicure by two nail techs today. The whole process was done at the same time, where while I was sitting in the massage chair to receive the pedicure by one tech, the second tech was balancing her tools on the hand rest next to my right side to complete my gel manicure. That meant that every time she needed to touch my left hand, I had to hold it up in mid air across my body while she painted them. At first I figured it was due to efficiency, which I had originally appreciated. But the place was hardly busy, and this would only be acceptable if they actually had a stable surface to also complete the manicure, but it just felt like they were cutting corners. I would not recommend coming here to anyone. The whole experience left me flabbergasted, and I needed to share it in order to save others from wasting their money here.
