Tried this Mexican place in East Brisbane and really enjoyed it. We went on Taco Tuesday, which was a great little bonus. The staff were super friendly, and everything we had was fresh and full of flavour. Would happily recommend it if you’re after good Mexican food in Brisbane.

Couldn't fault the welcome or the food but the wait staff, and wait is the key word here provided average service at best. The female staff didn't seem to like we were talking and taking too long to order. When she finally took our drinks order and I asked her to come back for the food she literally rolled her eyes and made us wait around 10 minutes to come back to take our food order. When she finally started to bring the meals out at no stage did she provide them to the person that ordered it she just handed it to the head of the table and asked for it to be passed on. When ordering a second drink she placed the new one down and grabbed the first one that still had drink in it. On several occasions I tried to wave her down to get more drinks and was ignored to the point we went and helped ourselves to the water bottles since we couldn't order a drink. While it was Sunday lunchtime and busy this is/was poor. Then came the bill and we asked if we could split it as we were a group of 7. A blunt "we don't do that" came out. Now the kicker was we were charged a 10% weekend surcharge for this poor service and while I understand it's to compensate for staff penalty rates this is rich based on our experience. Again, I can't fault the food but the service, at least from the short female staff member was terrible. Food = double thumbs up. Female staff = thumbs down.
