We had the most amazing experience at Poca Madre! The staff were super friendly and checked up on us once in a while to see how everything was going 😊 and the food was just impeccable, the flavours worked so well with the texture and we will definitely be going again! For dessert, we tried the chocoflan and it was a slice of creamy flan just sweet enough with a layer of chocolate mud cake at the bottom and caramel syrup (I have attached a photo). Our waitress was Ella and she made the whole meal such a warm inviting atmosphere. Thank you for this delicious meal!

Best place if you’re looking for a beer, amazing cocktails or delicious food! Latino vibes and Mexican flair! The service is on point and I hope you’re able to meet Ludi, he’s one of the best bartenders in Brisbane that knows how do deal with a venue like that! I can just recommend to go for the taco Tuesday!

We visited this restaurant on 31/12 while waiting for the midnight fireworks. The service was very friendly and attentive from the whole team. We tried six different cocktails our least favorite was “Not a Thai Restaurant”, but that was just personal preference; the rest were great. The birria tacos were excellent and 100% recommended. Unfortunately, the churros were disappointing and didn’t taste like real churros. Because of that, I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, still highly recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic New Year’s Eve experience at Poco Madre Mexican Restaurant, Brisbane! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Poco Madre on a very busy New Year’s Eve, and the entire team made our dinner truly special and memorable. A big thank you to Daniella and Varshika, who were amazing as ushers. Managing a group of eight people on one of the busiest nights of the year is no small task, yet they accompanied us with patience, warmth, and big smiles, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Special appreciation to Ella, who served us at the table and did a fantastic job throughout the evening. She was super friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly despite the holiday rush. Her positive energy and genuine care made the experience even more enjoyable and truly elevated our night. Thanks to this wonderful team and the vibrant atmosphere at Poco Madre, we were able to welcome 2026 with happiness, great food, and great memories. Excellent service, warm hospitality, and a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back! 🎉🌮✨

To say off the bat we were encouraged to leave a review , but it was a good experience all round . Lovely food and nice staff. I think the snapper tacos could do with some kind of crema or mayo as there a tad dry. Value for money wise I think it was decent considering the portion size of the tacos.
