Service is mid, they never ask how your table is doing and forget to get serving spoons/ water/ cups for party. The fungi pizza was good the other two pizzas tasted like dominos. The pastas were decent but the risotto was undercooked and crunchy. Hit and misses. It’s definitely not authentic Italian food tho. Expensive for what it is tho.
The calamari was fresh and tender, the carbonara pasta was rich and creamy without being too heavy, and the pizza was also very good with a nice crust. The prawns were a highlight — huge and very generous! Definitely a place worth coming back to.
Fab lunch place! Calamari entree was delicious and we shared a carbonara and a pasta. Both were cooked very well. Good selection of wines. The only downside is that this place is very noisy during lunch so expect to raise your voice if you’re trying to have a conversation.
the service here is 10/10!! staff is very attentive and didn’t take long for the food to arrive 😄 loved the calamari and recommend especially if anyone prefers acidic flavours!! pasta chicken alfredo: 9/10. the dish was creamy and filling, and very satisfying if paired with the calamari. the chicken was simple but lacked a bit of salt. gamberi: 10/10!! i really appreciated the rich flavour of the pesto with the nuanced taste of the prawns on the pasta. raspberry sorbet: 9/10 i really enjoyed the bittersweet taste of the raspberry and i really reccommend. vanilla ice cream: 8/10 classic flavour everyone loves!! the chef also very kindly included desserts on the house 🥹 a big thank you to the chef and staff for the amazing experience here at la cucina!!
This restaurant is undoubtedly a premier spot for fans of Italian cuisine. First of all, be sure to make a reservation before visiting; however, you might get lucky and find a counter table available without one. Even with a reservation, you may have to wait until the staff invites you to come in and take your seat at the table. But trust me, it's absolutely worth it, you'll enjoy wonderfully prepared Italian dishes like pizza, pasta, and more. We sampled both their pasta and pizza, and I can confidently say that they were among the best we've ever tasted and could rival authentic Italian restaurants in Italy. If you're a fan of pizza, pasta, and other Italian specialties, this is the place to go. They also have a bar that serves excellent drinks and cocktails.
