Been going here for 5 years. Always been kind of dirty. Took a break and when I came back I was shocked how much dirtier it has gotten. Very unpleasant and disgusting. I've also had a cable snap and break before. I was doing a cable tricep pushdowns. I now always check the cables before working out. Luckily I didn't get injured. I told the front desk and they said they will get it fixed. There wasn't a sense of urgency and didn't even ask if I was ok. Hit myself with the bar pretty decently. If I haven't had a LA Fitness membership for over 15 years I would have canceled it already.
Extremely dirty. There is also never a movie on in the “movie room” with the cardio machines. Lots of equipment is broken. The cleanliness is the biggest issue.
Very dirty. If you pay attention, the same stains and dirt will stay on a machine for weeks. You can tell they don’t take pride in working there (except for personal trainers). Every time I come in the girl at the front desk is staring at her phone and will look up at me but not even say hi. It seems like it would be a nice gym but it’s just a nice building.
The staff is amazing. I tried so hard to like this gym but I can’t. The outside is extremely nice, but the equipment is lacking and lot of the equipment are super dated. They hardly had any equipment to stretch with, or any jump ropes (which I wouldn’t mind bringing my own but I was told that they have it.) the bathrooms were a mess on the second floor.. it would have so much potential and close for a little while like other gyms and take some time to update they’re equipment or even add some.
Absolutely great vibe! Open space with a lot of light, full of energy! I particularly liked the free weight and specialty areas; spin room, dark room, walk loop. Grace is incredible, gave me all the information I needed, made me welcome and comfortable in a new space. Excellent experience!
