I love this bakery. Great baked-goods. Great staff. But, the shop needs a comprehensive policy regarding dogs. A large dog tried to attack a much smaller dog in the small space of the bakery today. Two humans fighting in a bakery would (I hope) have been asked to leave. This large aggresive dog was alowed to stay and was given a treat (the other dog left with its owner for its own safety.) As a customer in that tiny space, I felt unsafe. Please establish and post a policy.

A traditional French bakery that has all the delicious pastries and cakes you can dream of. Pain au chocolat, almond and pistachio pastries, fruit tarts and much more. It brought back memories of all the mouthwatering bakeries in Montreal... magnifique!

The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh pastries pulled me right in. They offered samples of their almond chocolate croissant (amazing) and the woman at the counter was so welcoming, answering all my questions with a smile. She recommended their macarons — and I’ve never liked macarons before — but theirs completely changed my mind. Light, flavorful, and hands down the best macaron I’ve ever had. I also took home a ham & cheese quiche slice that made the perfect breakfast the next morning. Between the friendly service, delicious pastries, and cozy atmosphere, this place is a must-visit in Lawrenceville.

This is such a cute and delicious bakery! I went with a friend and liked it so much that I went back and snagged some pastries for my kids and husband an airplane ride away. I put them in a bag, and my daughter wanted more the second she finished her croissant. There isn't really a place to sit in the bakery, but the street it's on has plenty of tables and chairs. 10/10

I stopped by La Gourmandine with my wife this weekend after hearing great things from my family and friends. It definitely lived up to the hype. Perfectly flaky croissants and elegant pastries. I visited this restaurant at around 1pm on a Saturday and it wasnt very busy. I hope to come back soon.
