My twin 7 year old girls had a trial lesson with Andrew recently in his home. Andrew was very patient and engaging with them, and put them at ease immediately, even when they felt nervous at first. He was well-organized, explained things clearly and age-appropriately, and they felt eager to try their best and focus hard. Andrew has his home set up so that siblings can do something quietly while the lesson is going on, so it was easy for me to bring both and have them switch off smoothly. For being as accomplished a pianist as he is, Andrew was so approachable and encouraging with my young girls at their beginning level. We plan on continuing lessons with Andrew!

Andrew is a very good piano teacher who is able to cater his lessons based on each student’s interest, age, and personality. At the age of 75, I started to take piano lessons from him. I have no talent in music much less in piano and so I did not have much expectations of doing well but I have learned a lot with Andrew’s patience and expertise. He even makes me eager to learn more. My 6 and 9 year old grandsons have also been taking lessons from Andrew for about a year, and they have made a lot of progress. My 6 year old grandson has progressed at a faster pace than his older brother did at the same age, under a different teacher. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Andrew Boyle is an extraordinary pianist and piano teacher, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for piano lessons! Andrew has been a colleague of mine for over 8 years, and he consistently brings incredible artistry and an immense knowledge of music to everything he does, whether it be performing, teaching, or collaborating. He is kind, patient, and thoughtful with a wide range of experience and education in not only classical piano, but also other musical styles, skills and topics. As a fellow piano teacher, it has been a pleasure to have joint piano recitals of our students together. His students have shared that they are very inspired, motivated and learn a lot from Andrew. His spacious studio in Los Angeles has a beautiful Yamaha grand piano along with two other high quality digital pianos for collaborating and practicing. I recently recorded in the studio space and really enjoyed the tone of the piano and the kind accommodations from Andrew and his family, who make it a very comfortable and welcoming place for music learning. I would be happy to refer any students to him, and I give a confident recommendation of Andrew's expertise in music education!

My experience with Andrew as a piano teacher has been great. He is very knowledgeable and explains things well. His patient and encouraging approach combined with his expertise make him an excellent teacher. Andrew has helped me improve my playing so much since I started taking lessons with him.

I highly recommend Andrew! His home studio is in a LOVELY restored craftsman home that is spacious and comfortable! And his grand piano is gorgeous :) Andrew Boyle is an absolutely FANTASTIC pianist and teacher. He is patient and humble yet he is one of the most accomplished pianists I have ever heard. My youngest brothers received trial lessons from him when they were visiting LA and my mother (who has been hiring piano teachers for almost 30 years), said that Andrew was the best she has experienced! For families that have their kids in the iLead Charter School System - I know that Andrew is a certified iLead Piano Teacher.
