Had a great time here! Our server, Andrew, was awesome — super friendly and really helpful. He even let us try a few sips of wine so we could pick the right one. Food was tasty and the service made the night even better. Would definitely come back!
Wow. What a beautiful restaurant incredible food and even better service. We came with our family of 6 and it was just delightful on all levels, but the service we experienced really took it above and beyond. We had the pleasure of being served by Paco and Richard, which really made the experience unforgettable. The food was delicious, the drinks were flowing, and we got to experience the most amazing of service. Paco and Richard were interactive, attentive, but not over-bearing. Each one of my family members insisted that Paco and Richard be given a big fat raise and kiss on the forehead for their exquisite service. Thank you Stella so much for a lovely dinner and even better service, we will 100% be back!
The food was amazing! The service was top notch. Very attentive and helpful with the menu. Our only complaint was the music. Their regular musician was out and the replacement was not the best. We had Ossobuco Milanese, Paccheri Al Ragu, and Agnolotti Pizzicati. Our server also brought us a couple of complimentary drinks and tiramisu. Overall it was a great time. 9.7 out of 10 recommend.
When it comes to Italian restaurants, a lot of what they usually offer is a hit or a miss. Usually, the sauce might be a bit off or the seasoning is low. In La Stella's case, I'm ecstatic to say that not true for them. Every single dish we ordered, without exception, has been served in exceptional quality. I took my girlfriend here to celebrate my birthday and we went for a full course experience. Our drinks the Penelope and the Arrevaderci. The fantastic flavors from both had already set a high expectation for the later dishes we got. Our appetizer was the pictured Fritto Misto, consisting of fried calamari, shrimp and other seafood. The marinara that accompanied it was expertly mixed and we found ourselves quickly using the entire dip up before we realized it was gone. Our entries were two pastas, the Agnolotti Pizzicati and the Paccheri, and the Wagyu Ribeye. The veal flavor from the Agnolotti was heavenly and rich, and the Pacherri was meaty and filling in all the best ways. The steak proved itself a fierce contender on its quality; I could still remember how tender it was when I ate it. The finale was the 10 layer cake along with Cappuccino, serving as a fantastic finish to an overall exemplary culinary experience. Our server, Andrew, had been very professional in showing us the dishes and what the place offered. He made the the already enjoyable experience even better, and me and my girlfriend quickly agreed to ask for him next time we come in on another special day. La Stella is an absolute 10/10 dining experience that everyone should experience at least one on a special occasion.
We tried this place recently for a guy’s dinner and had a good experience. Parking in the area is scarce, but they do have valet for $10. We had a large table in the corner close to the kitchen and were comfortable. The old fashioned and aperol spritz cocktails were tasty. We tried the U’purp (octopus) and prosciutto burrata and jam for starters. Both had great flavor and the portion size was good for the 5 of us. Each of us got our own pasta dish. 2 of us tried the Gnocchi Sardi and it was fantastic. The group favorite though was the Paccheri Al Ragu Napoletano (short rib). We split the wagyu ribeye and the Pluma Iberica (pork loin). We saw another table get it, so naturally, we had to try the pistachio dessert. Delicious. Definitely worth checking out.
