After trying a number of local salons, have firmly landed with Labratorie the past few years. I see Rachel who has such a gift with hair, the cuts/styles are fantastic, prices reasonable and wonderful service.

I had a disappointing experience with Laboratorie due to a scheduling and communication issue that ultimately resulted in a no-show fee. At my first visit in August, I booked one follow-up appointment for October. That October appointment was later canceled in time, and I was not charged. I did not knowingly book or confirm an additional appointment beyond that. Months later, I was charged a no-show fee for a December appointment I wasn’t aware was still active. After reviewing my email history, I discovered that two future appointments had been created on the same day back in August. While the salon states that booking multiple future appointments is “encouraged,” this was not something that was clearly communicated to me, nor is it something I would normally do without discussion. Although the salon ultimately refunded half of the fee, the situation felt avoidable and poorly handled. The experience left me feeling that the system prioritized policy over clarity and client awareness. The stylists themselves may be talented, but I would strongly recommend that clients double-check their future appointments and calendar entries, as it’s easy for multiple bookings to be created without clear acknowledgment. Edit in response to owner reply: To clarify, this wasn’t a case of forgetting an appointment. I booked one appointment in October, canceled it in time, and did not knowingly schedule a follow-up. I later discovered that two future appointments had been created on the same day. I shared this in my review so others are aware to double-check future bookings.

Katie did an amazing job with my haircut! She took the time to talk through the layered look that I wanted. Loved the outcome, will definitely be coming back!

My stylist was very friendly and warm. She explained her hair plan based on my request and made sure I will be satisfied with the results from the choices that she provided. And I was. Coming back soon.
