5 stars doesn’t even begin to do Lady Bird and Dr. Elizabeth Knoble justice. This place is 100% what prepared me for what ended up being a very smooth and uncomplicated delivery. I work in healthcare myself, and I can confidently say this office exceeds expectations in every way. The staff are highly responsive, it is easy to schedule, and the physical therapists, I work with Dr. Knoble, are highly knowledgable and, most importantly, so passionate about their job. Highly recommend coming here for any pelvic issues, but especially in preparation for birth! I am highly confident their tools are a big part of my birth experience being smooth and positive.
Two words: LIFE-CHANGING! (P.S. This is a longer review, but I know someone out there needs to read it.) Before starting pelvic floor PT at Ladybird, I had very little understanding of what the pelvic floor even was. Due to suspected endometriosis, the only options my doctor had really offered me were surgery and birth control which felt overwhelming and discouraging. On top of that, I was dealing with significant SI joint pain, back pain, and deep glute pain that flared so much worse around my cycle. I had tried going to the chiropractor but nothing seemed to help. Working with Elizabeth has completely shifted my experience. She is an angel on earth! The pain I was dealing with has significantly improved and I’m finally getting back into my regular exercise routine without constant flare-ups. The difference during my cycle has also been incredible. Even just a few months ago, I would be completely bedridden and sick for the first two days of my period. Now, I’m able to get up and do some basic everyday things, including gentle movement and even going to pelvic floor PT during those days to help support my body (which is honestly not as awkward as you might think!). This has made the rest of my cycle and symptoms feel much more manageable. Elizabeth is truly a wealth of knowledge, positivity, and light. She makes me feel incredibly comfortable and more seen than any provider I’ve ever worked with. It’s easy to open up to her about what I’m experiencing and she has adapted my treatment plan to fit my specific needs and my body. I always look forward to my sessions with her thanks to her amazing, fun personality and conversations. I also want to note that I had a few sessions with Liz during some busier weeks and she is absolutely wonderful and highly skilled as well! She is great at finding the areas holding the most tension, and I always walk away with a lot of relief and helpful cues that help me connect with my body more deeply. Thanks to her, I finally know how to activate my core in a way that actually makes sense to my brain. I’m so grateful I found pelvic floor PT at Ladybird. The entire team has been fantastic and deeply supportive. They have given me my hope back, and for the first time in a long time, I truly believe things will continue to improve.
I was referred to Ladybird PT by my OB, midwife and doula, so I came in with high expectations. Honestly my experience was even better than I anticipated! Dr. Elizabeth has been lovely to work with. She’s both knowledgeable and friendly, making an otherwise uncomfortable appointment something I actually look forward to. Can’t recommend her enough!
I went to Lady Bird PT for an athletic hip flexor/labrum injury that had tightened so much it was affecting how I walked, trained, and moved day to day. At the same time, having just gotten married and thinking about starting a family, I was nervous about what not addressing it could mean long-term. I had never done pelvic floor physical therapy before and was very nervous, but Elizabeth and the Lady Bird PT team came highly recommended - and it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made for my body and my future! Elizabeth made me feel immediately safe and validated. I realized I had never actually known how to connect with my pelvic floor before. Through breathwork, hands-on PT, and intentional movement, she helped me build that connection in a way that now supports me both at the gym and at home. After five months, I’m fully back to my workouts… walking confidently, jumping, and lifting heavy again. As an added benefit, I’m also able to enjoy intimacy more. Most importantly, I feel strong, empowered, and confident entering this preconception and conception phase. I can’t recommend Lady Bird PT enough. You will probably get more out of it than you even realize!
Dr. Elizabeth Knoble has literally changed my life. In addition to helping me resolve lifelong pelvic floor issues, she identified the connection between my prolonged hip pain and my pelvic floor and I have been able to exercise without pain for the first time in years!! Dr. Knoble is the first pelvic floor therapist I have found who takes such a comprehensive and holistic approach to her work...and I have tried several. PLUS, she's also so warm, genuine, and patient that she makes me feel completely comfortable and relaxed in our sessions. THANK YOU Elizabeth!!!
