We haven't been in a while and love the updates that have been made. On this trip I took our 2 oldest grands to swim and play in Peach Creek, which they enjoyed for hours. We used the shower facilities after and they changed. We will definitely be back soon!

This is a beautiful park. We had come here several years ago and it wasn't anything special, but they have done some updating and upkeep and it's much nicer. We really enjoyed hiking the trails and having a picnic by the creek.

I recommend visiting for the hiking and the beautiful scenery! The South and North Creek trails were my favorites. Along the way, you’ll pass a creek with plenty of spots to stop, relax, and enjoy the view. It’s also a good spot for fishing. The water levels were a bit low due to the drought. One thing to note: this is not a state park, so they don’t accept the Texas State Park Pass. The entry fee is $3 for a day pass. There are a few cabins by a small lake, though I’m not sure if they’re available to rent. Trails in general were harder than usual so if you have a hiking stick it helps! My only complaint is the unfinished driveways throughout the park — dusty, uneven, and rough on the tires. But overall, it was a good experience.

My friends and I stayed in one of the lakeside cabins for the weekend. For the price, the place was stable, clean, and comfortable for camping (more like glamping). The view of the lake was very nice. You are able to swim in the lake, but the clay bottom makes it almost impossible to get in and out of, so we did not end up swimming in the lake. The river is nice for wading in, but is not deep enough to swim in. The hiking is very nice, easy to follow on the maps they provide and multiple options for harder or easier hikes. Overall, I had a lovly time, and would recommend this place if you want to hike and splash around in some river water!

We love this little getaway within the city. My son and I have been visiting as many nature centers as we can. We actually came camping here earlier in the year. Had a great time. The staff/volunteers were amazing and very knowledgeable. Today was got to sit in for the remarkable reptiles talk. Leo was wonderful leading the class. He handled the kids questions very well. After the talk we hung out at the playground ate lunch under the covered area, and we went on a hike on the trail.
