Very pleasant area. My photos are of the Lake not at the Marina part. Didn’t think to take pictures while there.

This is a really nice lake. The views are fantastic. I came out today just to see what it was like. I saw two fishermen out in a boat with one guy just catching a really big bass. They have row boats for rent, kayaks for rent and a fishing pier. We just wanted to sit in a nice quiet place to watch the water, feel the breeze and not hearing the sound of traffic. This is a terrific place to bring the family and have fun. You won't regret it. So....Y'all come on out, ya hear?

Lake Townsend is a premium place to fish for an amateur like me. You can bring your own boat or rent one here. I have downloaded photos for prices. The water looks so clean and they take very good care of their buildings too. I have never seen a restroom at a park that was as clean as t h is one. There were some kids on the fishing dock that were having a great time catching small bluegill. There are several picnic tables in the shad so you can fish awhile, go have a picnic lunch and then take a fun kayak trip on the lake. It's a beautiful place.

Lake Townsend will always be one of my favorite lakes. Its natural beauty amazing me on every visit! This lake is very big and has a nice boat landing area. I recommend everyone visit Lake Townsend!

Launched for the first time yesterday and wow what a piece of water. Not full of party boaters. Great fishing and a very nice boat ramp. I think this is my new favorite place. $10 launch fee is very reasonable.
